Congratulations to Major-General Susan Ridge, Director-General of the Army Legal Services, on receiving the Law Society Gazette Legal Personality of the Year Award at the recent Law Society Excellence Awards.  Susan is a true pioneer - in 2015 she made military history, becoming the highest-ranking woman ever in the British Army on her appointment as Major-General.  The award coincided with her appointment as the new Director-General of the Army Legal Services, where she is responsible for a team of 130 lawyers.  She will also be speaking at our Livery Dinner next month.
