1st Jan 1991 appointed Beadle to the Scientific Instrument Makers Company, remained in post for exactly 30 years.  1992, I think, appointed Beadle to the Solicitors, still in post. 1993 Beadle to the Glass Sellers Company, now Liveryman Honoris Causa, but still in post.

1992 founder member of the Beadles’ Guild  Chairman 2006. Did two stints as Beadle to the Chamberlain of London.  Have been Beadle to the Builders Merchants, the Marketors, the Launderers and first ever Beadle to the Water Conservators, now Honorary Freeman. Stood in as temporary Beadle to the Watermen and Lightermen’s’ company, still in post 18 years later.
