Master Solicitor 2025-2026, Virginia Cannon (Ginny), was an in-house lawyer for most of her career.  

Firstly, with British Telecom, where she was BT Broadcast Services’ first Dedicated Lawyer, subsequently becoming BT’s International Compliance Manager. Later, Ginny moved to London Underground, dealing with its Public-Private Partnership and Private Finance Initiative contracts, retiring in 2010.
