The History Society – City Walk Club presents: The Dark Side of Spitalfields.
Following on from our successful “The Bloody History of Smithfields Walk”, join Lianne, a Freeman of the Company and a qualified City Guide, and explore the area where the police once feared to tread.
Follow in the footsteps of the victims of the Whitechapel murderer, hear their stories, see where they lived, and experience the Victorian London they would have known. Along the way you’ll hear tales of mass graves, ghostly goings on and body snatchers. All in the shadow of the Devil’s Architect’s Church.
