Would you like to learn to shoot? Or to improve your clay shooting skills?
Join us at E.J. Churchill on 26 September!
You are invited to join members of the City of London Solicitors’ Company for a day of shooting at one of the UK’s premier clay shooting grounds – E.J. Churchill in High Wycombe.
The day will consist of:
- 10:00 – Registration, hot drink and a bacon roll or pastry
- 10:30 – Shooting commences with an hour’s instruction/practice led by an experienced instructor
- 10:30-12:00 – Coffee break
- 12:00-13:30 – A fun team “competition”, rounded off with a small flurry*
- Round out the event with refreshments in the Terrace Café and Bar. (Not included in the price.)
The cost is as follows:
- £102 per person (inclusive of VAT)
- We have 3 subsidised places for Solicitors in Training, at £40 per person (inclusive of VAT) – first come first served
- We have 3 subsidised places for Solicitors up to 3 years’ PQE, at £80 per person (inclusive of VAT) – first come first served
Instruction, guns, cartridges and clays, a breakfast roll and unlimited hot and cold drinks are included in the price.

*What is a “flurry” I hear you ask?! It is a fast-paced clay pigeon game where multiple targets are launched into the air all at once or in rapid succession. Teams of four or five shooters must load, aim, and fire as quickly as possible to hit a high volume of targets within a short time limit.
