We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new permanent Clerk, Kerri Mansfield JP.
Kerri will be joining us on 2 April, and be supported by our Interim Clerk, Melville Petrie, until the end of June.
Kerri has an impressive background in the digital world, with an outstanding digital career with has been very people-based – focusing on coaching, training, writing, mentoring, project management and above all change and communications to ensure that digital change is embraced rather than feared. Having worked mainly in the technology and financial sectors, Kerri also has experience with government departments and the legal sector, including 10 years in e-discovery. She brings professionalism, experience and knowledge of people to the role.
She also has a love of the livery movement. Having joined the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists in 2008, Kerri is currently its Master. She is also on the Council of the City Livery Club.
As to an interest in the law, Kerri has been a magistrate since 2011, dealing with everything from motoring offences to murder. She sits in Cornwall as Presiding Justice, a mentor and appraiser.
We are very excited to have found a new Clerk who will combine digital and change management skills with experience of and a keen interest in all things livery-related and the law, but who puts people at the forefront of everything she does. This promises to be an exciting next chapter for our Company and our members.
As well as saying a huge welcome to Kerri, we thank both Mel and our Temporary Deputy Clerk Jill Moffatt for their hard and dedicated work over the last few months.
